  1. Rob Ringlet, the Privateer's name, is an anagram for Ron Gilbert, the creator of the amazing Monkey Island, a series of adventure games that changed the gaming world!
  2. The message of Mirabelle's father in the music box is a free translation of William Shakespeare's

    "When griping grief the heart doth wound, and doleful dumps the mind opresses, then music, with her silver sound, with speedy help doth lend redress."

  3. Bounty features a bunch of easter eggs and references to other computer games and famous movies. Let us know, if you spot them and we'll be glad to list them for other players to see.
  4. During the production of Bounty, 9 col-erase blue pencils and 4 col-erase red pencils were used along with hundreds of sheets of paper and many buckets of coffee.
  5. While the Bounty comic was being drawn, certain members of the production team were involved in virtual lightsaber sword fights, during which nobody suffered any injuries.
  6. No animals were harmed during the making of this game. The animals were only slightly poked and pushed around.
  7. At no point in the game's production did we ever consider Disney to animate Bounty's song "Shiver me Timbers".
  8. Turtle Island actually looks like a turtle! On the other hand, Burgee Island has no resamblance to a burgee whatsoever!
  9. Nowhere in the 43-page game script is there a reference to the word "Bounty"!
